Located on Avenue Louise, one of Brussels' most prestigious addresses, The Louise is a landmark office tower comprehensively transformed for the next generation of workplaces. Originally designed in the 1960s by André and Jean Polak, the architects behind the Atomium and the Berlaymont, the project was redeveloped by A2RC and Hasselt Architecten, with CG Talon leading the project on behalf of PATRIZIA.
The historic façade was restored to its original design, while the ground floor was reimagined for greater openness, light and transparency — guided by three principles: memory, modularity and longevity.
Over 35,000 m² across 24 floors combine Grade A offices with coworking spaces, restaurants, a 150-seat auditorium and more than 1,200 m² of publicly accessible amenities.
The Louise achieved BREEAM Excellent, WELL Platinum, ActiveScore and WiredScore Platinum certifications while aligning with EU Taxonomy requirements. Sustainability measures include photovoltaic panels, rainwater retention systems and high-performance building infrastructure.
One of Brussels' pioneering smart-enabled office towers, The Louise integrates BIM, IoT and advanced building management systems to optimise operations, enhance occupant experience and reduce lifecycle costs.
CG Talon led the project from development through completion, achieving approximately 6% savings against construction budgets while targeting more than 15% reductions in operational expenditure.
